Engine (Rebuilt). The standard limited warranty for the CANNiBAL Top Hat V8 is 24 months unlimited miles to original purchaser and guarantees normal functionality of the engine supplied whether bare block, short or long block assembly. All cylinder heads are remanufactured in most cases and are not new. Customer’s original accessory parts including but not limited to injectors, alternator, starter, oil pump, thermostat, water pump, exhaust manifolds, etc are not covered under this warranty unless purchased new from Car Cannibal, LLC or OE supplier with proof of purchase.
Failure to do perform the following properly shall void this warranty (i) inspect engine for damage that might have occured during transit including seals (ii) procedure followed for engine break-in (iii) Make sure the heat tabs are not melted or missing. (iv) Flow-check the radiator and repair, rod, or replace if necessary. (v) A rebuilt or new oil pump must be installed or the original unit must be tested to insure it will operate within factory specs. Starting the engine prior to having adequate oil pressure and improper pre-lube of the engine shall void this warranty. Improperly changing the oil shall void this warranty. Proper installation procedures must be followed.
The Rover Cannibal warranty covers normal on-road use only. If the vehicle into which a part is installed is used primarily off-road or is ever raced, the warranty is voided. In that case, the only warranty made by Rover Cannibal is that the part will operate at the time of installation. Failures of parts due to improper installation (i.e. not in accordance with Rover Cannibal or O.E.M. specifications), disassembly, misdiagnosis, accident, misuse, over-heating, flood, collision, or improper maintenance are not covered by this warranty.
AS YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FOR THE BREACH OF THE WARRANTY DESCRIBED ABOVE, CAR CANNIBAL, LLC, WILL REPLACE ANY DEFECTIVE PART WITHOUT ADDITIONAL SHIPPING COST TO YOU OR PROVIDE AN IN STORE CREDIT TO BE USED FOR FUTURE PURCHASES. CAR CANNIBAL, LLC, SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR OTHER INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING DAMAGE TO OR THE COST OF RELATED PARTS. You must communicate with our facility to discuss the nature of the claim before performing repairs or returning parts. Rover Cannibal must be allowed the opportunity to make the sale whole before the part is returned. Cores are due within 30 days receiving the replacement part or further charges will apply. All warrantees are for the original purchaser of parts and are not transferable.
Labor costs associated with this purchase are NOT covered under this warranty unless purchaser has used a Rover Cannibal authorized repair facility to do the installation. If the purchaser has used such facility to perform the work and failure occurs during the term of this warranty, the purchaser must return the vehicle to said repair facility immediately for warranty diagnosis and repair to be approved.
The purchaser agrees that all disputes related to any purchase and warranty offered by or through Rover Cannibal shall be determined under Oklahoma law and in Oklahoma courts.
TOWING AND CAR RENTAL ARE NOT COVERED UNDER THIS WARRANTY
